1 Scope of the Statement

This Accessibility Statement applies to the consumer-facing mobile application of Omply Health Oy, through which the user can establish a remote connection with a physician.

Omply Health Oy does not itself provide medical services, make clinical decisions, issue diagnoses, prescribe treatment, or assume responsibility for the content of healthcare services. The healthcare service is provided by an independent healthcare professional or other service provider operating through the platform.

This statement applies to Omply’s consumer-facing mobile application, through which the user can access Omply’s platform service.

2 Legal Background

Omply Health Oy aims to ensure the accessibility of its digital platform in accordance with the Finnish Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019). The purpose of the Act is to promote the availability, quality, information security, and accessibility of digital services, and to improve everyone’s ability to use digital services on an equal basis.

Omply Health Oy aims to ensure that its consumer-facing digital platform meets the applicable accessibility requirements as well as possible and that the service can be used regardless of the user’s possible functional limitations, assistive technologies, or device.

3 Accessibility Status of the Service

Omply Health’s consumer-facing mobile application partially meets the accessibility requirements.

The accessibility of the service is continuously assessed and developed as part of service product development, quality management, and user experience improvement. Omply Health Oy’s objective is to correct identified accessibility deficiencies within a reasonable timeframe and to take accessibility into account in the design and implementation of new features.

This statement is based on Omply Health Oy’s own assessment of the accessibility of the service. The statement is updated when the accessibility assessment is supplemented, when material changes are made to the service, or when accessibility deficiencies are identified or corrected.

4 Non-Accessible Content and Identified Deficiencies

Omply Health Oy aims to identify and correct accessibility deficiencies in the mobile application. At present, the service may contain deficiencies particularly in visual elements, such as the contrast of text, buttons, or other user interface elements. Omply Health Oy assesses and develops accessibility in connection with further development of the application and aims to correct identified deficiencies within a reasonable timeframe.

5 Development of Accessibility

Omply Health Oy develops the accessibility of the service as part of normal product development. Development measures may include, for example:

  • clarifying the user interface
  • improving colour contrasts
  • improving the accessibility of forms and error messages

  • improving mobile usability
  • taking user feedback into account
  • adding accessibility testing as part of the release process

Accessibility is taken into account especially in the design of new features and in significant changes to existing features.
